Player Status
Every calendar month, Sudoku Flags adds up your points across every game mode. Reach the monthly target and your status climbs a step. Fall short and it drops, following the plain rules below.
How points count
Every completed game counts, in any mode: Flags, Classic, or Killer. Points are summed from the start of the month to its end.
Status tiers
Your tier depends on how many months in a row you hit the target. Once you reach a threshold, you stay there as long as you keep hitting the target each month.
Rookie—Every new player's starting tier.
Scout1 month in a row
Pathfinder3 months in a row
Navigator6 months in a row
Cartographer12 months in a row
Ambassador24 months in a row
Atlas36 months in a row
Sudoku Legend48 months in a row
Beyond Sudoku Legend
Once you reach Sudoku Legend, you can never drop below it again. From there, status keeps climbing through 10 more tiers, one per year you keep hitting the monthly target.
Keeper of the Map+1 year
Conqueror of Continents+2 years

What happens if you miss the target
- First miss in a row: your tier stays the same, but resets to the bottom of that tier.
- Second miss in a row: you drop one tier.
- If you've just moved up to a new tier and immediately miss the next month, you drop a tier right away, no soft first miss.
Example
You hit the target six months running and reached Navigator. In month seven you miss the target: your status stays Navigator, but the streak resets to the bottom of that tier. Miss again in month eight, and you drop to Pathfinder.
Sudoku Legend and everything past it are the one exception: there is no dropping below them.
